Thailand’s Surrogacy Regulations for Medical Clinics and Physicians

Thailand does not currently have laws that expressly control commercial surrogacy, but there are other rules and regulations which can apply to medical clinics and doctors offering surrogacy procedures. Under these surrogacy regulations, Thai authorities have launched several investigations after recent surrogacy scandals created an international outcry.

Managed by Thai paternity lawyers, the Thailand Attorney Blog has issued a Thailand Surrogacy Laws Analysis detailing the current surrogacy regulations and discussing the possible future of surrogacy legislation in Thailand.
