The Organic and Natural Expo 2014 gave businesses and producers in Thailand an opportunity to showcase their goods for consumers seeking a greener lifestyle in Bangkok.
The expo’s purpose was to promote consumer awareness and provide a platform for business networking. Celebrating its fourth year, the event was organized by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce and held at the Queen Sirikit Convention Center in Bangkok.
With over 200 exhibitors, an estimated over 50,000 visitors, and a projected income of 15 million baht, this event reflects the worldwide trend of the organic industry becoming the fastest-growing consumer market and Thailand’s efforts to keep up.
Visitors could browse the booths displaying a wide-range of organic products for sale including rice, packaged foods, drinks, fresh fruits and vegetables, clothes, and beauty products.
The event also included an Organic Symposium which focused on sustainability and discussed the trends and challenges of ASEAN business going into 2015.
