According to the latest Burma business round up report , Thai businesses are attracted to Burma to establish factories because of lower labor costs and significant rich natural resources. The Thai business group will meet Burma’s Minister for National Planning and Economic Development, Tin Naing Thien, to discuss the new investment law.
Many companies seek to establish a base in Thailand before venturing into Burma. Additionally, many joint venture companies between Thai and foreign companies are seeking business opportunities in Burma. Thailand companies are looking to take advantage of Burma’s newly amended foreign business laws as Thailand continues to utilize big pools of foreign investment and liberal investment laws to build large manufacturing industries.
