Stefan Buck, a Swiss banker, will appear in U.S. courts in New York to face an indictment for aiding tax evasion according to his attorney, the Wall Street Journal reports.
Buck requested the conditions of his bail in advance of his court appearance as well as prior assurances to return to Switzerland after his appearance – both of which were denied.

Buck will still appear in court to defend the charges against him, said his attorney Marc Agnifilo, according to the WSJ, an apparently uncommon decision as Switzerland does not extradite citizens facing similar charges.
